I have to say, I'm already there. Years ago, after one of the (possibly many) management changeovers, the choir went there on our yearly pilgrammage downtown to busk for some local charity at Xmas time. We'd done it for several years in a row. We'd sing some on the street, take a break at Haas. and sing a few (with the owner's permission) to the patrons (who often would kindly donate). The last time I ever went in there was the year we went to do that and the young lady behind the counter informed me that the owner wouldn't be keen - even if it was for charity. It's my opinion that the place isn't anything like the place we remember when we were in University.

Well, you know that the customer is always right unless they are wrong. It's pretty obvious the customer was quite far on the right side of right and that this dude was being a petty, territorial douchebag and deserves the loss he has so carefully earned. What would be really good is to get your Nano compatriots to join you in the embargo *after* informing the Asshat why he's losing the business. Yes...a bit of wishful thinking but it'd be nice...in that karma kinda way.
